Agreed, won't argue that point. But take a look at the 3 legacies that were in Ch.11 in the post 9/11 time frame. 2 of the 3 MEC's took severe concessions, 1 was able to retain some of the gains they had pre 9/11. Probably had more to do with the local MEC/membership's strength and unity and not ALPA national looking our for it's largest contributers.
