Ahoy, should any type of hiring/training slowdown during the holidays be of concern to someone like me who is planning on sending in apps around the middle or end of this month/beginning of November? No need to be concerned, it's normal for most airlines to slow hiring during the holidays. Many reasons contribute to the slowing. Just to name a few; Mgmnt & training departments take time off and attrition slows down. This is also dependent on how bad they need pilots. Expect hiring to continue but training to slow and pick back up in Jan.
Last year SKW didn’t run any December classes and I think they will do the same this year. Not sure, maybe someone else knows when SKW last ground school is scheduled.
Either way, keep plugging along or you’ll be in school before you know it.
