But that also meant we could not update, because there is no mechanism for that in Alaska's application process. Yeah... I got a "thanks for applying" email, then a "TBNT" email, then a "please disregard the TBNT" email, then I got an interview and got hired.
I don't think there's a wrong way to go about applying. I would apply at every opportunity.
