Last that I read and heard, ExpressJet (ASA) was losing it's long standing contract with Delta... but the "down-sizing" had been expected for sometime now, but it is now ending about a year earlier than expected.
However, ExpressJet has signed additional agreements with American and United, and no pilots furloughs are being forecast. Kilroy has not lost his job, but he will probably have to start commuting from ATL to a new base. While it is a sad development indeed, it is not an excuse for Kilroy to not conduct his own "due diligence" on the other jobs that may be available.
As Motorclutch said, Kilroy should read the ATI thread (and ABX too) to educate himself on the pro's and con's of the job, instead of just asking
uninformed questions.
Read first Kilroy, then ask
informed questions... and don't expect to be spoon fed information because supplemental carriers don't operate that way.
Good luck to you Kilroy...
