If you took Island Air or Ohana and wanted to be home every night you'd have to live on Oahu. Have you tried to buy/rent a house their? On top of that have you tried buying groceries at the store and look at the bill? $8 for a gallon of milk. Sure when you're not flying you can't beat the QOL or when winter comes around you can't beat it. BUT, having been born and raised in Hawaii and now experienced mainland life from living in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, Minnesota, Dakotas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee, there's so much more to offer as far as QOL! Just my 2 cents
