There's a big difference between a Delta or SWA open house and what PSA is doing. With those airlines the "headhunting" involve a move to a major carrier with huge increases in salary, contract terms, and qol.
PSA on the other hand is just acting like the ugly person in the bar trying to snag some meat at closing time.
I'm pretty sure based on your prior experience and general disdain for PSA, you'd have a negative view of pretty much anything they'd do. They could be handing out ice cream to homeless kids and you say they're encouraging childhood obesity.
And hey, for some people making a lateral move to another regional is an increase to pay, contract terms, and QOL. It's all relative.
