Delta didn't cut the jobs. SkyWest pulled the plug on the contract a year early. Plus, they inked a huge deal with UA and added shells to their AA contract. Everyone saying that XJT cut a whole bunch of jobs is misinterpreting what is actually planned. Will pilots be displaced? Likely. Will they be furloughed? Not that I'm aware of.
Put the onus on SkyWest, not 9E.
