Sorry to say it but the only people that regional crews should be mad at when stuff like this happens is
themselves. Anyone can do some competent research about how the regionals came to be, and also about the why and how the majors utilize them for their benefit. The more regional crews understand the big picture the less disappointment they'll have when the music stops once in a while and chairs get taken out or re-arranged.
I personally hope pay and benefits at the regionals will improve even more in the near future or, even better, that the game will be up soon and the majors will be forced to bring the flying back . . . but if that doesn't happen they I'll do my best to be mentally and financially prepared for it.
Like ironmanndfw said, hate the game not the players. If you are knowingly willing to play ball at the regionals, then be prepared for what the game entails . . . the worst thing you can do in my book is complain about what happens in it and try to blame somebody else for a bad play, because that shows me that you just didn't do your homework.
