No you are right... they are looking at the success of EOS and MAXjet. A major benefit for AA is the handling fees at Stansted are far less than Heathrow and Gatwick. However, dollar for dollar... EOS provides a true Premium Service Product for a business fare ticket (flat bed) versus AA's pure Business Class service. Eos has departure lounges in JFK and STN with complimentary adult beverages. With only 48 passengers on the entire aircraft the ratio of flight attendents to passengers is better with Eos versus american too.
