Unless they can "Pull a Tesla", and get the Canadian government to subsidize their money losing product, they are going to lose, and lose badly.
They've already done that. Quebec owns 49.5% of the program and they are now actively shopping for another investor and the Chinese state owned COMAC are the most likely suiters.
It's a welfare program at this point.
