Additionally when a Delta guy doesn't take it for me obvi ****es me off. However it's fair to say the guy you took the Jumpseat would always take the jump seat for you ,

Then there was the Delta CA (26 years there) that was also a real estate broker (needs more $ I guess?). Anyway, he bought 17 positive space tickets for his agents between MCO and DAL but felt 18 was just too much so he jumpseated. Along with me on a SWA 737. Both jumpseats full in the cockpit of a 73. Halfway to Dallas he asks the SWA CA to turn on the dome light so he can do a crossword puzzle. 30 minutes out he has to pee. CA asks if he can wait for 30. On final the aircraft ahead gets a windshear and without missing a beat the SWA CA turns for AUS. Guy nearly wets he pants as he runs off in AUS screaming, "I'm headed to AA!" leaving his group behind.
