I had two military friends that both attended Vets in Blue on two separate occasions within the past year and a half. . .both highly qualified recent retirees. One had a desk job in the past 12 months. He received an interview, was told that he would be hired after going and getting 200 hours somewhere else. . He subsequently went to Frontier, tried to get ahold of the person at JB who told him this after he was flying the line for Frontier. . .never heard back and is now at UAL. The other friend went to VIB, never received a call for an interview and is now at SWA. I will not take the time to write letters of rec or recommend friends attend VIB. In my experience helping transitioning military friends, it has not been positive.
