Punish how exactly? The Delta birds are not leaving our operating certificate. The second they do they have to pencil whip the 89,000 lbs MTOW down to a more unfavorable number (I think it's 85,000). This fear mongering is exactly what allows management to do what they are doing.
Please review section 1 of the DAL PWA. Compass isn't required to operate the airplanes, it simply allows for our specific 36 E175s to have an MTOW of 89,000.
