You should on average expect to work 4 days a week and be gone 3 nights. That's just typical airline flying. That's 150 nights a year in a hotel. Perhaps you'll find a company where you can do a three day trip instead of a 4. It'll still be two nights a week. That's still 100 nights a year.

At some companies with some seniority in your seat it might mean a few more nights at home. Every time you switch seats and are now at a lower seniority in your seat the schedule will more than likely get a little worse.
