I know. I have never understood why places called people back unless they lowered their standards in the future, but if I can get a call back then I will take it.

If you were lucky enough to get that first interview at FedEx, it meant that they wanted to hire you. If you got turned down, it was (usually) because of something you did or said at the interview process. An internal recommendation, after being turned down, probably wouldn't carry enough weight to get you in a second time, by itself. Keep updating.

If they do grant you a second interview, they (again) want to hire you, and have deemed you competitive enough to spend more money on you, in the interview process. So I guess the key would be to try to figure out where you originally screwed up, the first time, and don't do it again.

Yes I think I know what I messed up on and it was boneheaded. I have been updating about once a week. Thank you for the info.
