You and I must've gotten mixed up in the cosmos somehow. I had the exact opposite situation. Pursued Brown hard cause I had all kinds of ties with them. Grew up just outside of The Ville. But they never called... Got the offer from Purple. Two weeks before my Purple class date, Brown called. But the wife and I had already moved on in our minds. It was hard to pass up the Brown seniority. It would've meant top 15% my last fifteen years, but we're not looking back. Sometimes you just have to pull the trigger and block out the noise.
