Found this in the paper yesterday in Waikiki...pretty big news there. As most of you know, but for some who haven't been following it, Hawaiian uncovered that Mesa had planned to keep its extremely low fares ($1, $19) just until it could knock Aloha out of business. Then, it planned to raise the fares to levels in place prior to the existence of Go! in the Hawaiian Islands. Sounds like capitalistic darwinism, but at the same time seems a bit unethical.
