Not sure where you got that info. Before my first year was over I had multiple months with hardlines and all weekends off. Most of the lines were partial weekends off, 1-2 full weekends off with one or two other weekend days. And even then during IOT and DOT I could for the most part recover some weekend days if not all weekend days. Not to mention not working thanksgiving or Christmas during my first year.
