I guess I'm a bit bothered by those who come on line to question why a Captain did something. Why didn't you have enough courage to just ask him or her in person?

I have had multiple tire changes, on different airplanes, over the years with people on board and I have also deplaned the airplane when maintenance was going to take more than a few minutes to fix something.

Just ask the people involved rather than using a forum for what ultimately amounts to complaining about how you were inconvenienced by this Captain.
