More opening fluff than usual. Wasted our time with hurricanes, SMS and above and beyond BS.
Only gave us around 30 minutes to ask questions but at the beginning of the call they prefaced it saying that if we have contract questions about the new hire bonus, they can't answer anything. We have to talk to our MEC.
Any meaningful question was responded with, an uninterested "valid point".
Bob says bonuses for cfis are ok cuz no other department is getting them.
Bob thinks upgrades are around a year. Cute.
New version of iocc coming out. Might fix some problems. Might not. Don't care. No time frame.
Buffers aren't being shown cuz "they're constantly changing"
Overall waste of time. Lots of fluff and nothing being done to address any of the contract violations.
Union is our only hope at this time.
Does anyone honestly think our union will actually prevail for us? Every since this new MEC, I have been less than pleased with how they are handling things. Maybe if we got more communication on a weekly basis rather than a monthly basis I will have a different view of them.
