Pilots returning to the 787, which drains the 777 ranks....which leads to more staffing issues, again. How much will this cost? Doomed to not learn from your mistakes, it'll cost a lot. As far as something being pushed by an ALPA council??? The company never listens let alone requesting input on route decisions. Council in IAH really has nothing to do with a route decision. ALPA has no input there. The place that ALPA does have input and is required by the FRMS side letter regarding how to staff and fly it in reference to the ultra long duty days and FAR 117. ALPA has no influence in marketing, maybe it should.
Not looking good so far for Oscar's dream team closing the gap. Constant underperformance has consequences eventually.
