They (CPO) have always worked with me and others. Crew scheduling is where you will have the issues and the threats of MAs even if you have a kid in the hospital. Not everyone in CS is like this. I have had some reasonable CS guys/gals help me out a couple times.
Just tell CS to PG code it and then email the CPO. That's the trump card on everything. PG it.
