Well in case you haven’t been paying attention, our current contract although not perfect is a dramatic improvement over our previous one. The duty day is not flawless but for us it’s better. Rome was not built in a day, and in our situation our previous contract was so poorly written by a snake in the grass Teamster, that it will take time to undo all the damage he inflicted upon us.

I feel bad that you lost far more than the paltry 25k we have complained about, but don’t think you are the only professional aviator that have taken it in the backside in this profession. Many pilots have been hurt for a variety of reasons, but the bottom line is we must look after our own best interests. What works for you and your pilots is great, more power to you. What you need to understand is not everyone has “your” contract, and we are slowly trying to improve ours.
