That's Bozo's point. If guys were not picking up VDA and RSA they'd see that their W2's are sadly reflective of a regular effort.
The problem is more than just guys helping out and pitching in; its part of the culture that the company was founded upon. The company was born in a pretty $hittay period of airline and world history. Triggering premium pay rates at 70 hours meant working above and beyond was how it was done. That was also because the industry was bankrupt and the poor hourly wage, even at 1.5 times, was just about paying the bills. That's not the point. The point being that the company and pilots has always relied upon and planned upon pilots working above and beyond.
We'll get our CBA and Bozo is hardly suggesting anything illegal in regards to unauthorized job action. It's a personal choice to help out and pick up.

Totally agree. Especially about how these "habbits" started and the history of the company. That's a big deal we are changing how the company interacts with its pilots.
