They're looking for HONESTY... not perfection... nobody's perfect, so what they want to see is what you've learned from your mistakes and that you aren't a habitual line stepper ... by 10 year background check, they're looking that you haven't been a felon and that your employment history is credible -- if you've left a place because of a conflict or they fired you, you'll be okay -- they look @ this stuff AFTER you're hired, not before.
