To answer the last question it really depends on what you are going into. Short answer is 10-16 weeks. If you are a FO and upgrade on the same equipment then you can get through training quicker through a qualified upgrade program vs long term program. 145 might be a couple weeks faster and than the 175. Senior guys get a to go first so there could be a 2-4 week difference in start dates from the most senior to the most junior pilot. From award to class the longest is 10 weeks to wait. After check ride to IOE is 4-5 days. FAA ride 1-2 weeks.
Keep in mind that those quick upgrades, basically street CA's will be on reserve, bottom of barrel indefinitely as many guys like myself are waiting for the 1000hrs will be ahead of them.
