But you could go to those same places with a 737 type and get the same thing. It really doesn't matter if you are typed on a CL65 or 747, you still need 1000 121 time and you still need the seniority. If two pilots at XYZ regional both have 1,000 hrs of 121 time and both can hold captain by seniority, how exactly being typed in a CRJ make you upgrade faster (other than DEC which we are not talking about here)?
In other words, lets say that a prior 121 CRJ captain and OP (CRJ FO) apply at the same 'other' regional in the same day. Both have +1000 121 time. Please show me how having that upgrade will help one over the other. Both are typed in the aircraft so both get the cash.....
