This. Previous captains get no special credit anywhere I know of. The type rating gets you the bigger bonus, not a previous upgrade from another airline. Any FO flying a CRJ has a type rating.

Idiot. Having a type rating does not help you upgrade faster ANYWHERE. 121 hours and seniority get you the upgrade. Being a captain previously does not help you upgrade faster at any 121 airline. You would still wait to upgrade after a more senior qualified FO who has absolutely no PIC.
