ZW's owner's have made by some estimates $1B off their US Air/AA contract. The main reason they are still in the 50 seat market is that market still exists and is profitable. But, if that changes it doesn't take a genius to realize they have the bread to acquire other regionals or bigger planes.

Sure, on paper that sounds riskier. However, ZW has been around 50 plus years with great success in the regional sector. My simple advice is don't judge a book by its cover.
