Not to shoehorn in on this thread, but to settle the SWA full retro question. No, it wasn't full retro. It was darned close, but when I input my trips flown times the pay difference, I came up with a number slightly higher than what I received.
Also, I was on first year pay for much of it and first year pay guys didn't get the retro bump up to the new, 30 percent higher rate.
It was a signing bonus. It was darned close to full retro and we paid the people who resigned and retired, which was important given how drug out our negotiations were, but it was not 100 percent retro.
