I think you answered your own question. I'm sure most just don't want to work for the company that shut them down. I don't blame them.
They also have many other options that are equal or better. Many other regionals are offering massive sign on and retention bonuses with a flow agreement to fall back on.
I imagine a lot of ASA guys are moving on to majors and LCCs as well which is obviously better than the soft landings offer.
Anybody who can of course move on to larger pastures, should. But for some senior folks who are too old, tired, skeletons, etc soft landings might be a financial godsend, relatively speaking. I'll give SKW credit for that, if they just wanted to poach FO's from other regionals they could have capped it at 2-3 years.
