The only part that ticks me off is this, they hire me into another a/c just 4 months ago. Now you are telling me that seat is way overstaffed and I will go to a different airplane. There seems like a way to save 200M bucks. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about my job. I know this isn't forever, I am a big picture guy and I will take it all in stride. Unfortunately, common here at Uncle Brown. They often react and have difficult time being truly proactive in this arena. The decision to draw down the 8 crews was likely a last minute decision made 10 minutes before the announcement to meet the seat requirements on the -400. The lousy deal is that alot of folks are going to be in ANC that do not want to be in ANC. I had a classmate just go from ANC CPT MD to CPT 74-4 hoping for a better schedule. Ugh.
Would not put ANC anywhere on your bid list if you don't want it. If they see it anywhere on your list, they will move you to the front of the line. <ng>
