StallWeezy is a jab at SkyWest (SkyWeezy) for their low speed events.

The Compass flight that almost stalled, was on the arrival into LAX, but since we have so many children of the magenta here, they clicked off the Autothrottle rather than overriding it or being ready to set N1 manually when leveling. In the level off they did not set the appropriate N1 and the plane decelerated. I say children of the magenta because if the plane ain't doing what you'd like you're still the pilot at the end of the day.

We have seen the results of bad monitoring/automation complacency in multiple incidents. Asiana in SFO and more recently Emirates were both mechanically sound aircraft where the pilots did not manually adjust the thrust due to an expectation that the automation would take care of them.
