OK, so I have an interview sked (still trying to work out the date, actually), and would appriciate some basic info on the "line life". Honestly, I don't have alot of info, so anything you tell me will probably be of use. Right now, I am spending about 2-3 weeks on the road doing sim, so I imagine it wouldn't be any more time away than that, but maybe I'm wrong. Thanks!

Basically, you give them 17 days. Your days off are guaranteed. When it is busy, you fly a lot, when it is slow, you may do a bit of sitting. They do let guys occassionally sit reserve at home. Home Based, so the will buy you a ticket to your assignment and return you to your resident airport. Generally the layovers are nice and the hotels overseas are very good. In Europe you will do a good bit of driving from one place to another (Belgium to Amsterdam or Germany, etc.). Some people pay a lot of money to do that and we get to do it for free and get paid at the same time.
