I got hired in my late 30's. If someone thinks that early 40's is too late to start is missing out on a great career. Even with 20 years left a new hire today would be able to upgrade within a year or two (be in the right seat of a WB) and retire as a 330 or 765 CA.

There hasn't been one day that I wished that I had stayed at the regionals. I think most of the guys that won't apply are afraid of failure.
