I was not alone in being HUGELY disappointed our 2016 contract did not raise first year pay higher than the 14.65% everybody got at DOS...but have been told the company simply would not budge on probationary pay because "we don't have to".
First year pay blows, and it has cost us a lot of good pilots who simply can't take the one-year hit...but if you can get past that you'll be just fine.
