I can't speak for the hiring folks, but I wouldn't expect a call that far out. I looked on the NetJets careers web page and didn't see a limit on how long your app is kept on file. Is it on the app or the other paperwork you have from them? If it's not, I can e-mail Derinda and find out. Once you get the interview, though, you can count on getting hired unless you show up and give them a reason not to.
One thing all NJA applicants should remember:
The easiest way to keep from getting an interview is to limit yourself on the domicile preference sheet. I don't know how you marked yours, but if you marked only PBI and they weren't looking to hire into PBI in the timeframe when your app came back in, it probably started gathering dust at that time. If want to work for the company, tell them you will take any domicile they will offer. Even if the new contract changes don't get voted in, you can change domiciles fairly quickly - maybe even before you get done with all your training. They weren't offering my first or second choice of locations when I got called for an interview, or even
during the interview, but lo and behold, when the job offer came it was for my first choice of plane
and location!
Turnover, as in people retiring or quitting, is low. I've moved up about 120 spots on the seniority list in 14 months, and I now have about 320 behind me. I hear the 350-400 new hires per year number still being used, but I can't vouch for it. Also, if they meet their quota for the year before year's end, they may slow down or stop interviewing for a little while at the end of the year.
Good Luck,
