Seemed to be nice guys (they always are ) BUT can anyone explain why anyone would be interested in such a position?
Supposedly they're all in their late 40s and early 50s.

Without this turning into mud-slinging [we ALL feel the same way about this airline-within-airline arranged marriage setup.. ] - why are people applying for such positions when every single airline out there is hiring?? Does that even make sense?

And yup, I would classify them as four-bar-syndrome. Guys who have been heavy captains for the last 10 years.
