Taking a job at NetJets in 2017 (rhetorical since they aren't hiring) pushes you into a situation where you are much more likely to have to keep working into your old age.
I think a 51% match upto 20% contribution would add up over time. No doubt there are better options financially but commuting sucks donkey balls. 7 on 7 off with generous vacation and based where I live is worth more to me.
I'm in the pool and still deciding if I'll go if/when the call comes. Right now I'm on 8&6 with only 1 tour a year vacation whether I've been here 1 or 10 years. I'd take more time at home over a bigger salary but that's just me.
