So $23.09 (83 hours) is more than $3 an hour rate lower than what should be making, all other things being equal.

We will have the highest 2nd and 3rd year pay of any regional in America, and that is pretty awesome. But without a new hire bonus, we will drop to $48K for FYFOs. Not very competitive, as most younger folks can’t see past 12 months. But we shall see next week, I suppose.
