Delta would be a fool to purchase their own aircraft for regional feed when others are willing to purchase the aircraft (take on the liability)for them. This is a win/win for Delta, better aircraft at no additional risk. It's not like OO "gets 15 more" OO put their necks on the block and purchase them. Sure, but with an aging 900 and soon to be aging 700 fleet, it's not a good sign for us. Oh, airplanes are old? Good, Skywest can buy more for us. Also, interesting timing making that announcement right after our TA...
