One of the many issues with a bidding war for assets, is if we by planes, in the past, pilots have come with them, or at least an interview. Could get interesting since probably not many US citizens, or green cards.
How many times in the past have we received used airplanes from a leasing company and the foreign pilots have come with?
The possible scenarios here are quite different than when UAL bought Pam Am’s entire pacific division down to the last spare wheel chock, for example.
If in doubt, I suppose we could ask one of the Chinese pilots that came with the used A319s.
