What if you were arrested for something beyond 10 years - do you still have to list that?

Seems the apps. only ask for the past 10 years.

Has anyone been asked if they've "ever" been arrested?

whats the deal with the 10 year cutoff? arbitrary?

Has anyone openly confessed to misdemeanor convictions beyond 10 years without any problems?
