It is possible that you might get a major airline job without a degree...eventually. But only because of the impending demand for pilots might cause them to take a non-educated pilot with solid credentials over an educated pilot with significant "issues". I suspect this is coming.

But the lost career earnings off the back end while you wait in the holding pattern will be far more than the cost of an online degree.
