I am seeking some info regarding Pilot Credentials app and some general things. I have completed and published my app, but I am still gathering references and letters of rec. I have done some reading about Personal Endorsements, but it seems like a bit of a mystery whether or not one will get a call without one.
I had no PE and knew no one at Fedex when I got the interview invite. I was also not prior 121 or military. I applied about 10 months before I got the call, and updated my app once a week. In our 20+ person class, only 5 had PE's.
3) I'm a transitioning military pilot (separating, not retiring). Intend to fly w/the reserves. I read in another post that FedEx may be veering away from part-time reservists. Any evidence-based truth to that statement?
I'm a very recent new hire, nearly half of the class I was in is either currently guard/reserve or transitioning to it.
