I was surprised by this as I was the only one at the gate when she opened up the flight an hour before scheduled departure time.

When I spoke to the pilot who had the jumoseat, he stated that he went to another gate hours before and they listed him.

Is this true? This was a Republic flight, but I would also be curious if this is the same on Skywest, Endeavor, etc.

Thanks
Maximum 2 hrs prior. You can list at another gate or at the service center if no one is at the gate.

ALPA put out a bulletin several years ago listing some great reference info on the above topic. I'm sure you can find it by digging into the ALPA reference library.

Hope it helps.
