Hogan advice (just what this thread needs)

"I always" or "I never" questions should probably be answered with a NO. The test doesn't ask about high treason or murder, so you probably have done whatever they're asking about.

I read every question carefully and then answered honestly. I think thats the only way to be consistent. I was worried that a few answers weren't consistent IE

Do you enjoy the challenge of your job? YES
Do you want to be indepently wealthy? YES
Do you enjoy fiction and/or plays/movies YES
Would you like to be a successful actor NO
Would you like to be a successful writer YES

All true, so, thats what I answered

IMO:
I'd wager that the test is aiming to weed out less 10% of applicants. If you think you're values/behavior are in the general range of normal, just be honest. As it is, it weeds out more than 10% because people are not being completely truthful. Rumor has it that the base levels values/answers were formulated by anonymously testing upper level managers who had nothing to lose, therefore were quite honest. Food for thought
