Yes. Depending on what base you go to, your reserve sit will be 3-5 months until you hold a line. IAD and ORD seem to be the most junior so getting a line there will be relatively easy. Your first line will be 12-13 days off and mid 80s of credit. If you pick up a day trip or a 2 day part of a trip, you'll easily be able to credit over 90. I'm a senior FO and keep 13-15 days off with mid 90s-mid 100s of credit. A friend of mine who got hired within 3 months continually had 14 days off with mid 80s of credit. This was in ORD though.
Thanks so much for the above reply. If I sign up for the SRP (Senioriy Reserve Program) and I end up giving up the job before the start of training and joining a different carrier, does that count as an incomplete training event?
