In military terms all your UPT time is student, and as a student you can't log night, IMC, etc. There's another thread on here about UPT time that talks about it, guess there's room for interpretation.

Flight records publishes your aeronautical orders. You do get the pretty frameable one when you graduate, but as far as I can tell the one that actually allows you to operate the aircraft is an unimpressive little sheet of paper they type up.
