But on the other side of the airport we loading 150 to 200 bags 3000lbs fright 1000 lbs going to ATL And don't let it be an ANC flight we always bulk out the bins in 757 going to ANC And loading bags in a MD sucks in those smalls bins definitely when the lavatory guy show up and dump the toilet now the who bin smell like ....becuase were loading right under the bathroom And in summer time some days we go the whole shift without lunch And please don't give me That some times pilots go there whole shift without a lunch to doing physical work without a lunch Is way different then doing a job Where U sit down most of the time without a lunch or when a regional pilot ask you to load 500lb of ballast then ask U to take all off it off then again ask You to load 300lb of ballast all on same flight and don't let the first flight of the day be a SEA flight all of the fright of fish You going to be smelling like bad fish for the rest of the day And it doesn't get better in the winter time Im de ice coordinator So on snow days I'm outside working 8am TIL midnight to only be put in a Nice hotel to come back at 8am again And do it all over then to finally get home to notice my skin is peeling of like a snake for being soak in deiceing fluid for the last two day And btw just about everyone here on the ramp 25 years old And younger either have a degree or is working on one It's only a few that actually want to become a pilot And a lot of guys here on the ramp is on the move crew Where they have to learn how to do cold And dark start up of every Delta And Delta connections aircraft in 3 weeks Not say they go in dept like pilots do But still they can taxi a 777 to the hanger But What I'm trying to say is

you can't tell me I don't deserve I good chance to move up in a company That i ALREADY WORK FOR
No one would disagree you don't deserve to move up at Delta. In fact, we'd love to see you have the opportunity. What we disagree with is this opportunity being offered to employees with little to no flying experience, meanwhile, the 1800 pilots doing the job day in and day out aren't good enough for better career progression. Insult to injury: they'll send this programs candidates to fly at our company (presumably) with a garunteed Delta pilot slot without willingness to do the same for our pilots.

Our dislike for this program is not rooted in our thought that this isn't a great program for people such as yourself. It's all about how we've been treated with respect to career progression and Delta's willingness to extend this opportunity to unproven aviators and not pilots that have been flying for years under the Delta brand.
